Quadratic Expectation and Some of Its Properties

Abstract

Expectation of a random variable, which had already been defined with the help of arithmetic mean, geometric mean & harmonic mean, has here been defined on the basis of quadratic mean (also called root mean square) and termed as quadratic expectation since it is based on quadratic mean. This article describes this measure of expectation numerical examples.
